Let us say that a person was involved in a horrible automobile accident where they lost both of their arms, both of their legs, and his genitalia.  Also, let us assume that this person is in a coma in the hospital.  This person completely relies on other people to feed and nurture him.  He is still a person that is a living human being, even though he has lost the ability to reproduce and to take care of himself.  Just because he is not functioning properly does not mean that he is not a human being.  The only difference in this person and an unborn baby is the fact that the baby is literally inside his/her mother’s tummy and the fact that the man is quite larger than the baby.  (Slick, 1995-2008)  Many people feel like the Bible is fairly silent in regards to when life becomes human and therefore when abortion becomes murder, but in reality, the Bible is quite verbal about life before birth and how that life should be treated.  The Bible tells us that God created us in the womb therefore Abortion destroys a creation of God.  Also, Abortion involves the shedding of innocent blood which indicates life.
